My name is Emily and I was born and raised in Wisconsin near the city of Oshkosh. In 2002, at the start of my senior year in high school my family moved to a goat farm in Nebraska. Right after high school I began working at a local pet store in Plattsmouth then a large pet store in Omaha. I have always loved animals and really enjoy working with them, and I haven’t stopped yet! In 2006 I became a certified groomer through a professional grooming academy. I was a dog groomer in Omaha and Lincoln totaling over 4 years. I then attended Southeast Community College while working on my parents’ goat farm. I completed my Associate of Science degree, with distinction, in May 2012. I then began grooming again at a local shop in Lincoln before starting my own grooming business.
I love grooming dogs because I absolutely love them. While not the most fun part of every dog's day (many prefer getting dirty), grooming is an important part of pet care.
I have owned pets since I was 15. Now, my husband Ben and I own 3 wonderful dogs. Grim, an adopted 9-year old German Shepherd, Optimus a 6-year old English Bull Terrier, and Ember a 4-year old hound mix. They love to travel, swim, play with dogs, and run around the farm. We include our dogs in everything we can, they are very important to us. You can usually catch Ember in the salon where she loves hanging out with other dogs-- she'll be the one barking. Grim comes too and he loves little dogs. Optimus prefers napping at home to being in the salon, because he would do just about anything before taking a bath.

Newest member of our pack: February 4th, 2014 Lillian Belle was welcomed into the world.
She loves visiting the salon and always has a big smile when she sees the dogs
